About Us
Aloha! I’m Cheyenne. I created One Om as a way to spread love, happiness, and mindfulness. I also wanted to use One Om as a way to raise awareness and funding for the grade school yoga programs I am creating and establishing for Title 1 schools in Hawai'i. In 2021, I was fortunate and blessed to be able start the first yoga program for grade school children at a Title 1 school in Waianae, Hawaii. It was very successful, and it was such a joy to witness all the amazing, transformative effects it had on the kids. That program is in its second year and going strong. I am now establishing a similar program at another Title 1 school on the island of Kaua'i. This initiative will again bring yoga, mindfulness, and meditation to the kids in combination with a guidance counseling program. 20% of all profit from the sale of One Om clothing will go towards bringing yoga curriculum, supplies, and programs to underprivileged kids in Hawai'i.
On a personal level, the graphic tees we create are like tattoos and work as daily reminders of my intentions and the path that I am on to find true happiness and my true self. I have been practicing yoga for over 10 years, and have been teaching yoga since I was in high school. My goal is to bring the love of yoga, meditation, mindfulness, empathy, and environmental awareness to my students and the world at large. I believe we are all life-long learners on the path to becoming the most conscious, grateful, empathetic, loving versions of ourselves.
We are all one. We are all family. We are all on a journey. We are all here to love, grow, and transform. We are all here to find our purpose, to find happiness, to find our true selves, to take care of each other, to take care of our planet, to spread kindness, to raise ourselves and each other up to a higher place. One Om is part of that journey for us, a way for us to spread love, one premium, sustainable, organic cotton & hemp tee at a time.
We are ever so grateful and blessed for all the wisdom, teachings and lessons handed down from so many beautiful, kind, knowing souls traveling ahead of us. Through their determination, struggles, selflessness, will, and love, a path has been opened up. It is up to each of us to make our own journey inward, but the guideposts, markers, and breadcrumbs are now well marked to help us along this pathless path. The human condition is a wonderful, difficult, joyous, trying, mysterious experience, and we must ultimately be our own guru. But, how fortunate we all are, to be able to stand on the shoulders of the gurus who have pointed us in the right direction.
